Paul Gibbons is a senior consultant specialising in visitor experience, hospitality and cultural operations, with a track record of leading high-performing teams across major cultural institutions and commercial venues in the UK.
He delivers strategic transformation projects, operational restructures and large-scale audience engagement initiatives, working closely with boards, trustees and external partners to navigate complex organisational challenges and maximise revenue opportunities.
Paul brings his expertise to a diverse portfolio of cultural and hospitality projects, including leadership roles at the Design Museum, Barbican, Royal Albert Hall and London Museum, as well as project management positions in boutique hospitality settings.
His career has spanned major capital developments, venue reopenings, business transformation, and the design and delivery of inclusive, high-quality visitor experiences.
Previously, Paul trained as a lawyer specialising in Employment Law, before moving into cultural and commercial management. He has continued to develop his leadership practice through programmes such as Oxford Cultural Leaders and as a founding member of the Visitor Experience Forum, a professional network supporting sector-wide development.
