She has expertise in mixed-method research design and implementation across programme-level evaluations, strategic reviews and other major research projects.
At BOP she has a particular focus on a growing portfolio of creative technology projects which include impact evaluations of AHRC/UKRI’s creative R&D investments, the Immersive Arts Programme, the Audience of the Future Programme and the Creative Industries Clusters Programme.
Lizzie also delivered a flagship research report into the international activity of English cultural organisations for Arts Council England and is managing BOP’s data partnership with UNESCO on their upcoming Global Report on Cultural Policies.
Prior to BOP, Lizzie worked in a policy role for the British Council, and for a think tank on UK-EU relations based at The Policy Institute, King’s College London. In 2018, she was awarded a British Council Venice research fellowship and made a Milton Wolf Emerging Scholar in Public Diplomacy.
She has an MA in Cultural Policy, Relations and Diplomacy from Goldsmiths and an undergraduate degree in French and History from the University of Edinburgh.
