Genevieve joined BOP as Relationship Manager for the World Cities Culture Forum (WCCF), through which she managed government partnerships across 6 continents. Co-founded by BOP, WCCF is a network of 40 of the world’s major cities, including London, New York, Paris, Tokyo, Sao Paulo, Abu Dhabi and Lagos. The network collaborates on research and policy around shared opportunities and challenges for culture and creativity in cities.
Prior to BOP, Genevieve worked at the British Council, where she managed an international Fellowship programme with 35 higher education partners, and delivered public programme at the Venice Biennale. Before this, she managed partnerships for the V&A’s exhibition programme, and worked at galleries including the Guggenheim Museum, New York. And as a freelancer, worked with an NGO to develop a capacity building programme for grassroots cultural organisations in the Global South.
Genevieve holds a BA in Modern History from Oxford University and MA in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art. And has participated in the EU’s Global Cultural Relations Programme, and OECD Summer Academy for Culture & Creative Industries and Local Development.
Genevieve has a background in cultural policy including urban policy and cultural relations, and in operational planning, capacity building and development - with a depth of international experience.
