Since starting at BOP, she has been working in the BOP500 team on establishing the first global benchmark for the cultural capability of cities.
Before joining BOP, Emily has worked in the private sector for London-based tech startups, and in embedded-in-the-community contexts through voluntary work, campaign development, and nonprofits. Across these roles she has supported the delivery of growth strategies with a special interest in facilitating collaboration between multiple stakeholders with different needs. Through her postgraduate studies Emily has been able to develop particular knowledge around place-based disparities and barriers to access.
She holds an MSc in Mental Health, Ethics and Law from King's College London, where she was awarded The Dickson Poon School of Law Prize for being the highest performing student on the programme, and The Tempany Prize for Ethics.
Emily also holds a BA in Languages and Literature (French and Italian) from the University of Oxford.
Emily is an interdisciplinary researcher with a background in ethics and social welfare.
