Recognised as one of the UK’s foremost authorities on visitor experience and operations in museums, galleries, and visitor attractions, Associate Director, Rachel Kuhn gave the keynote address at Croke Park for Fáilte Ireland’s Smart Operations programme.
Speaking on Visitor Attractions and the Experience Economy, Rachel discussed how “smart cultural organisations and heritage attractions have realised that they are enablers for something bigger, something values driven, a catalyst for something profound. They know that they are shifting from operating in the Experience Economy to the Transformation Economy.”
Fáilte Ireland’s Smart Operations offers a holistic framework of supports to business leaders and their teams to pioneer, reimagine, and deliver operational excellence, while providing a great customer experience. Looking to the future, it aims to strengthen the tourism industry's resilience and assist its recovery and expansion.
