To mark its 10th anniversary, we spoke with former finalists, winners, judges, and key sector experts to assess the award’s impacts and potential progression.
Now, Art Fund has published a selection of our findings, spotlighting the award's impact on audience development, profile-raising, and revenue generation. We are pleased to see these insights articulated by policy manager Lucy Bird and are excited that our research will contribute to the prize's evolution as it embarks on its next decade.
Speaking on the impact of the research Lucy emphasied how the research has 'provided an opportunity for Art Fund to take stock of the overall impact of the prize over the last 10 years, whilst also gathering important insights into the ever-evolving priorities of museums as they look forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead.'
