Sabina is our cultural heritage expert, leading on many of our client relationships in Scotland.
Recent clients include Creative Scotland, Festivals Edinburgh, Glasgow Life and Historic England. Sabina evaluated the Commonwealth Games Cultural Programme, a year-long programme which reached an audience of 2.2 million, secured £15 million investment from the Heritage Lottery Fund for the redevelopment of The Burrell Collection and delivered Thundering Hooves 2.0, the 10-year strategy for Edinburgh’s Festivals.
Sabina has a PhD in architectural history from the University of Edinburgh. Before joining BOP she worked in the public sector for 12 years where she helped to embed heritage into the corporate vision at Scottish Canals and was a World Heritage Site Coordinator and an Inspector at Historic Scotland.
Sabina is a member of the AHRC Peer Review College and the Royal Society of Edinburgh’s Young Academy of Scotland and contributes to the MSc in Conservation Architecture at the University of Edinburgh.
